Software Overlay
Unlike MIS and MID series products that have a built-in overlay function to grab images from CCTV cameras, Hicap series products do not have the function and provide Real-Live Display. Images for display should process by software with Hicap models.
What you monitor is what you record
With captured videos from Hicap boards, we use them both for Display and Recording. Unlike MIS has a built-in Hardware overlay function; Hicap boards usually require a higher PC specification than MIS or MID series products because the CPU works more with Hicap series products.
DIO Boards Unnecessary
Since connecting a signal communication connector to a Hicap board is
enough for a sensor to signal input and output, the Hicap series do not need
any extra DIO boards (16ea for DI / 4ea for DO)
Analog Video Output
With Hicap models, an Analog Video output is built-in as default. It does not display multiple CCTV channels but only one as selected in Application Software.
Providing S/W MJPEG4 Codec
With the codec we provide, you can compress captured video in JPG format. However, if you have your own software codec, it is possible to use your own codec to compress videos in any format you like to use.
